Types of Service

Compline - A short service of night prayer. Everyone welcome! The ancient office of Night Prayer (Compline) derives its name from a Latin word meaning 'completion' (completorium). It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day.

Refresh - Refresh is an informal, family friendly, cafe-style service which starts with refreshments and includes a short time of worship, discussion on a different topic each week and prayers. At St Nicholas’ Church, Refresh is held in the church hall and starts at 09.45am with coffee and croissants. At Christ Church it is held at the back of church and starts at 10.30am.
